What is the turnaround time?
The normal launch period is around two weeks, however we may launch as soon as a few days based on your individual requirements. We provide customers with the option of launching an MVP (minimally viable product), which enables us to launch fast and make ongoing changes from that point on.
Who edits and manages my website?
As a client, you will never be required to change or update your website in any way. CloseHack's unique value proposition is centered on the Hacker Genie, a virtual web developer that provides new pages and website changes in perpetuity. If you like to be more hands-on, we provide options which allow you to create/edit pages, upload testimonials, write blogs, update colors/logos/branding, and more.
Will you upload my listings for me?
CloseHack has a unique relationship with your multiple listing service (MLS) that allows us to be notified whenever you add a new listing. When a new property is published or an existing one is updated in the Multiple Listing Service, we will use that information to update your website. Additionally, we offer an off-market/pocket listings service in which CloseHack uploads listings directly to your website without the use of an MLS system.
How does the website generate leads?
Leads are generated through five different channels, each of which can be routed according to your requirements. 1. Lead capture is required when clients view your IDX feed for listings. 2. When a user saves a property, saves a search, or simply clicks "Create Account." 3. All general contact forms 4. Questionnaires and home valuation forms. 5. Recruiting forms. Other lead requirements might include integrating Facebook, Zillow, or Google Adwords straight into your website. Our IDX website is perfectly equipped to handle all of your lead needs but it is important to note that CloseHack does not generate leads with paid digital advertising.
Who decides the design of the website?
By default, your Hacker Genie will do their best to build the most modern and successful website design possible. Our developers use tracking tools like HotJar and Google Webmasters to compile a list of best practices for developing your website. Your Hacker Genie will present you with his best version of the website first, and then ask for feedback and revisions. Our mission is to help you succeed, which sometimes requires you to put your faith in the experts. We do offer unlimited revisions, which simply means you can request modifications until you're happy with the product's overall quality and design.
Can I use my existing/new domain (DOT COM)?
Yes, your existing domain can be linked to your new CloseHack website. If you don't already have a domain, we'll walk you through the process of choosing and purchasing one. CloseHack does not provide the domain, but we highly advise GoDaddy for purchasing and managing your domains. Purchasing and maintaining a domain name costs roughly $10-15 per year on average.
How often is the IDX updated?
Depending on the MLS, the IDX listings are updated every 5 to 15 minutes. These updates include both new and updated listings in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Please contact us if you'd want to learn more about your MLS and the average listing sync times.
Can I start with a single account then add new agents later?
Yes, new users/agents can be added to your website at any time. Depending on your preferences, our experts will even design personalized websites for those new agents.
